Thanks Flotsom, I did a google search and found a download site. I'm replacing an nvidia card in my mom's computer with an ATI card. So I want to make sure all the old drivers are gone. She's having trouble running videos with windows media. It has to be the drivers. I've reinstalled Windows Media several times and have updated drivers several times. When she runs a video it causes the blue Screen of death and the system reboots. So I hope this fixes it.

You shouldn't need a driver cleaner program. In your add/remove prgrams there should be an add/remove nvidea program. Just remove it. Install new card and poof the computer should read new card. If you have a newer ATI card you will need updated DRIVERS/

8.7 or 8.8 if I remember correctly.

Uninstallers are notorious for leaving behind bits and pieces that can and do cause issues and corrupt performance. Absolutely you need a driver cleaner of some kind.

Not to start a disagreement Challenge. Never had a problem. When I built my computer I went through various testing of 3 video cards with crossfire and non crossfire. Switched to Nvidea. Never had a problem. Driver cleaner will work fine but I found it totally unessecary.

That is fine for you but there have been plenty of cases in the Technical Support forum here that are text book cases of how Windows can have major problems by uninstallers that dont get the job done right. In particular Windows Vista can and has become a crashing BSOD mangled mess when changing drivers. So much so others have said you are better off reinstalling the OS in some cases. Driver Cleaners (and I use DriverCleaner.net) will save you a lot of headache so drdeathx WHEN (because it certainly isnt an IF concerning MS software) this happens to you just remember the recommendations here.

I understand it challenge just never had a problem removing and installing any drivers. Some need it I guess. Wasn't second guessing you just a thought on manually removing them. Its not a bad idea but it does add another program... LOL ..,And I know you can have it on manual start.
