Checking Scores In Flight?
« on: April 16, 2000, 11:11:00 AM »
I see this option on the Clipboard, but it always says, "The Feature Not Yet Enabled"

When will it be enabled? (I know when question?) and will it show current sortie?

I.E. Will I be able to check my score in flight and compare my "Assist" to "Kills" and get an active count?

Things happen kinda quick in a fur ball and its hard to keep count sometimes.

Heh ok Downtown, I'll chime in. HT mentioned that he's been debating makin' the clipboard have a web browser feature, from which you could check the scores on the HTC web page while in flight. Er....I hope I understood that right.

It sure would be nice being able to surf the net from within' AH on those long commutes - and if he creates an email application to go along with it - well, good bye Netscape and Explorer, I'm gonna do all my net activities from the skies

Nash - I surf on the web while flying all the time    Alt-tab works wonderfully.  And if you're on RW, your wingie will tell you if you're about to crash when your autopilot has switched off accidentally

Downtown - Ronni posted a few weeks ago that they are not planning to keep the scores on mission-level. So there wouldn't be much to see...  But that can change, of course.

Heya Camo

Yah, I do the same thing... and yah, more than once I've unknowingly bumped my stick sending my plane into an un-autopiloted death spiral   I'll have to take your tip and reserve my browsing time for when I have a wingman.

What do you mean "keep scores on a mission level"?

Oops nevermind - I just re-read Downtown's post and I understand now. Here's a tip: if ya ever forget how many bad guys ya've killed in a sortie, all ya have to do is kill one more - the host will conveniently let ya know yer tally
