Glad to see you guys are doing well :salute
It was a pleasure to have flown with you. Before my alien abduction (which forced me to leave the game and focus on hiding from flying things and probes) I enjoyed my time with the VF-17. I hope to return one day and wreck some more of your blue planes.

Tex I just ran into an ex Marine who may be interested in joining, his game name is Blue2, just started in AH but has flown in othe sims, really interested in learning to fly the Hog and Kitty, told him to check us out. Think he would be a good addition, he is retired and hehe is older than me! Gave him the site so work on him if he asks, cause you and Shifty are a couple of sweet talkin cowboys! Yahooooooooo! :confused:

If he decides he can't stand lowering himself to fly with a bunch of Navy guys send him our way. :D

Sweet vid, I've thought about trying it out since it has pacific settings but just for offline only. only thing i saw wrong was it listed that Hog as an A in the credits but the A didn't have the double fixed pylons. Still a very nice find MjTalon :salute

Save your money. Only things Il-2 has over AH is prettier graphics, a more robust damage model, and I like the complexity of the flight model.

Everything else (ESPECIALLY the actual flight model itself) is rubbish.

Nice video but the guy flying the Corsair only pulled on halfway decent manuever in the entire video which wasn't until 5:08 into the film when he pulled what I thought was a high yo-yo to bleed speed and slip in behind the Zeke which flew stupid in that one. If the Zeke would have yanked to the right he would have ended up behind the Corsair with a better firing solution than trying to outrun a Corsair with a slight E advantage....but that isn't what this thread is about is it.

Go VF-17 or Go Home!
