Talon, the header picture worked for me, but its squashed a bit from left to right. change the line ....

It should bring it a bit closer. The original picture is 972x203, but I don't think it will fit the space. Resizing the picture to fit the width of the space would be best, tho you will loose a bit of height.
The logo picture should get the same <center> tags as the "centerheader" picture.
The sites a bit plain, but thats what you get with templates. For your site this works though. You don't want a lot of eye popping colors and bunches of animated gif's and head banger music pumping out the speakers. Squad sites are informational sites, not "sales" sites so you really don't need all that "hype", so a quite, sedate site works well.
Looks good, keep at it.
