Does a Squad's name influence you?

When Ghostber posted about the disbanded squads he has joined it started me too thinking about their names. A couple of the names seemed not the sort of names I would like if I were looking for a squad to join.

What squad names would you avoid joining? Here's 3 I would probably stay away from: Never Neverland Rangers, Spongebob Aces, or Dahmer's raiders.

Funny you should mention this, I was just thinking last night that the Dickweeds squadron has an unfortunate name, but is a great bunch of guys nonetheless.

A squadron name to avoid...  Fighting manthings....   :rofl

Hilarious that the BBS system changed it to manthings!   :rofl

Funny the word is edited out here on the BBS, but allowed in the game as part of a Squad name.

Yeah, Dickweeds are good group and have been around forever. It was a pleasure flying with Turbo the other night.

Way back when, I brainstormed upon the 201st Thundereggs as my squad name, and a few dedicated AH-er's joined in. But, it didn't last long and I eventually landed back with the BOPs.

As for the DHBG, I agree. TurbO runs a great squad.<S>

I prefer naming conventions after actual WWII Squads.

i can make one though  :D

anyway, i would avoid a squad that is attached to ENY rides for the most part, i feel sticky and dirty in them, to damn used to my F4U1A. just my thoughts, others will disagree, and ill catch flack, but its my thought!

The funniest one I've seen was 1 Brit and 1 Jew. To keep the squad name short and as is, they can only invite more Brits and Jews
