On your "index" page, look under "view source" and look at the html META-TAGS near the top of the page.  Put in appropriate keywords that would bring more people who are looking for you on search engines to find you more easily---NO commas between keywords, just space.

This should help more people find you.

The site looks good aside from the obvious stuff people have pointed out.  I noticed you used PHP fusion.  Have you considered using Joomla for your PHP template?  It offers one of the largest communities and also has countless add-ons and a large user community.  Both ahevents.org and aceshighmovies.com are based off of Joomla.
