Setup: A rook-nit furball last night between A73 and A74. My squaddies Bipolar(I call him Bip on vox) and Tec are nit, I am rook. We sometimes avoid shooting each other if there are other targets. I arrive at the furball at what had before been quite low, 5k. Everyone is on the deck this time.  I kill one guy and then notice that I seem invisible to the nits; nobody has reacted to my presence. There are several bad guys in the area so I ask my Bip where he is.(I didn't, at the beginning, know Tec was nit) Listen to Vox but watch text. I laughed heartily. I hope you find it funny. Film is 2 minutes,  23 sec long.(1.5 megs)                    :salute

Warning: the film has vox and there are 2 F-bombs in it(not in anger)

You approach it a bit different then me. I always go split S, chop throttle and attack from almost straight up. I went and look at some of my old BnZ film. Since I kinda stop playing the game and haven't bnz often when i do decide to log on and fly a few sortie, nothing is recent.

But the different is I always come in 1-2k higher on their 4-7 high so they have a hard time tracking my plane, that w/ the speed build up from the dive, I usually only have a few a sec to fire before breaking it off. Good thing my aiming is good though =)

I can't believe you'd ask your squaddies to identify themselves so that you don't shoot them down. Fratricide is fun!

You're so right. Once in a while, like I said,  we avoid it.  I have 6 kills on my squad this tour.    :devil

the HG do that too.....they look for the squad emblems though, so no one knows they're doing it.

The fight had been between 10-15k.  Don't you think 5k would be considered a bit low ?

welll.....if the fight was up there, but most of us in mw tend to fight low(by your definition) last night i was at 21k, as i was forced to go that high to avoid being bnz'd. normally fight in the weeds, or on the wavetops if it;s a cv/coastal base furball.

Whatever.  I've spent time in the MW and found that there are plenty of alt monks there as well.

My squaddie shot me down last night while I was in a 262 and he was in a 38.  I didn't even know anyone else from my squad was on.  It was a great shot at a very difficult angle.  So much so, I thought I was safe and he didn't have the shot, then off comes my tail feathers.  I was so proud when I saw who it was.  Best 200 perks I've ever spent.  TeeeeHeeeee  WTG Waster07  :aok

i've had that happen......where i think i make an angle that's impossible for you to get a shot at me......but then suddenly big important things fall off my plane.  :rofl

i don't think i've had that happen yet. i always hear something, as i get hit.

last night, i had a hurri2 drop on me from outer space, as i was tring to set up to land with only a minute or so of fuel....i was concentrating on a spit that was loitering around, but lined up anyway, and gave one final glance 'round......just in time to see the hurri2 my 6 hi, cannons blazing...ping bam boom tower   :rofl
