Although I recently signed onto a new contract with HiTech, this isn't my first time playing AH. A sim I love dearly, even if my flying would seem to say other wise. After a 3 year "vacation," from the game, I noticed one thing,... The sounds in the game are as borring as they were 3 years ago. This isn't ment to be a harsh statement, not at all. But simply, a Spitfire with its Merlin engine, should sound nothing like a P47 Thunderbolt, which has a twin row radial engine,

that should rumble across the sky, like a stampead of wild mustangs! A Lancaster shouldn't sound like a B17, and so on! Yes, I know there are sound pacs available for this. But if you aren't computer savy, "as I am certainly not," then the issue of switching sound pacs becomes simular to a botched attempt at constructing a space shuttle! "Where's the duct tape!!" As far as AH has come, a clear "Icon", of on-line gamming, it's time for the hum-drum sound pac to catch up with the rest of the games' up-grades. The dull monotone sound on a long bomber mission, has nearly put me in a comma more than once. Come on!! The roar of four radial engines should make the hairs on your neck rise with excitement! We want to feel the excitement of the flight, hear it, taste it! Not wake up drooling down our belly, six sectors past the target! I want to "hear" AH ROCK!!! <S> AH
