Macchi icon

202 and 205 are almost identical planes by appearance. Yet again, in AH the difference can be seen from miles away. How about some other icon ? MACCHI, MACC or something ?

Dang. I hadn't thought about that, but you are right. And I do prefer the 202 to the 205 (feel rather like the famous "uber-Val" of WB   ).

Perhaps "Macho" is better.

This NOT just the macchi.

Pyro, you have to rethink the icons for a few of the planes soon.
Currently the:
190
109
spit
F4U
Have multiple versions under the same icon, the way it should be.
However the:
La-5FN
Macchi
have icons that have or will become too revealing.
The Macchi reveals currently the .202 or .205, allowing incomer to know whether his opponent has cannons or not, the La will eventually reveal whether it is an La-5 La-5FN or La-7 unfairly displaying the threat level the opponent is facing.

I suggest the Macchi icon merely say "Macchi"
and that the La-5FN merely say "Lach". You could standardize this to include others as well, basically all planes using the same airframe SHOULD have the same icon. The only possible exception being that the Dora should be seperated from the 190, it was radically different looking without the radial engine.

 Plane ID icons  have always been a  "bone of contention" with me. I think A pure visual ID is optimum and the pucker factor
of this cannot be beat. I would rather see  no icons  but alas  .....
But i do agree the  icon of the Macchi is   wrong  . But  seeing a 202 is kinda rare.
Hopefully i can bag one before you change it HTC   One of  those and the  rare F4U-1D  would make  handsome additions to my trophy
room.
