I took a cruise last winter aboard her little sister `Liberty of the Seas'.  Royal Caribbean Freemom Class with a length of 1,112 feet, beam 184 feet,  gross tonnage 160,000 tons, 18 decks, speed 21.5 knots.  It was, needless to say, impressive.  :O

I just got back from Royal Carribean's "Adventure of the Seas" and it was really awesomely huge.  Except for Hurricane Hugo messing up 3 ports of call, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Having been on far smaller NCL vessels in the past, it took some getting used to as to just how huge the thing was.  Walking from our room to dinner was quite a hike!

I still recommend Royal Carribean over the other lines.  They still have a few customer service issues to work out but they do rock!

I do not believe there is a cruise ship out there that isn't being driven by a Norwegian named "Per".

 I been working in services 5 years at sea for Princess Cruises on different ships, destinations, in "95-"96 onboard of Sun Princess  during inaugural season, was the largest cruise ship at the time 77000 tons, 1000 crew, +2100 passangers. Was a pain in first days to find my way around the ship, with 15 decks, lots of elevators, but was soon after outclassed by Carnival Destiny, Grand Princess, Voyager of the Seas , .... Now, here they came after 13-14 years with ships 3 times biger, Let's  hope the economy goes well and peoples can  afford vacations.

I was on the Navigator of the Seas for my family vacation to Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cozumel. Very impressive ship.
