I think the report game Id type gigs should allow us, the Community to stamp on this, Doesn't matter if it's the Internet or not, we should have a moral conviction that this is not acceptable in any format, at any place, at any time

I thought most of us were adults...  Right?

Maybe with the new administration racist talk will be criminalized.  That'll show them...  Then we can all tune back to 200.

true but that's only like 3x15 min with prostitutes in Amsterdam.

ignorance will be everywhere you go, why run from  a game you enjoy just because there are easily mutalble ignoranuses around. just silence them. swap sides, and kill them repeatedly. thats how you deal with problems, by brutally killing the source!

Or 1 terma run in Rio....hmmmm now that you put it that way I may need to reconsider my finances :rofl :noid

On a more serious note I see two separate issues here. The minor one is the chatter on "rook"...and my understanding is that originally Talon left that chess piece as a result. The 2nd is the squad interaction. A good squad has to maintain a very high level of internal respect. Even though I "run" a wing of 71SQD if I got out of joint and seriously disrespected 1 or more of my squaddies Jeff (redtop) would bounce my backside to the curb in a heartbeat...and rightfully so. A good squad sets a high bar and the thought that talon had issues during this inside the squad would be my bigger concern. The general clutter and dweebery on 200 (or even range at times) is easy to ignore...but maybe i'm just lucky in that we (71 SQD) very rarely if ever have issues in the squad (well not for long since Jeff, Bat and Steff run a tight ship) like this....

I love how many judgments and opinions are being spouted off here by people who don't know half the relevant facts.

Maybe a realistic switch of, "Radio On/Off" that corresponds with the 5 radios would help such a situation?

So would people actualy thinking before they opened their mouth and hit the broadcast key.

IMO it's a problem with the rise of all this communication technology, too many people talking faster than they can think.

Today is one of the worst days the 78th FG has had to endure. Due to the dormitory politicians that fly these skies and the bashing that went on the night of the elections we lost the 84th FS and MjTalon. When they announced the winner there was enough bashing going on that it forced one of our pilots to cancel his account and disband a great squad. It's a shame that even in the toon skies we can not escape such hatred.

Seriously folks this is a game and when you take the fun of it away from someone you are in the wrong! If you need to vent your political choices start a blog and keep it out of the arenas!

Nuff said!

Sorry to hear that Ciaphas. I can sure see where that would happen. Hopefully everyone will find some mutual ground and pull back together.

The Headhunters only have issues if one of us lands to often and the plane is still air worthy.

Politics on an everyday basis, is not a good thing. Politics on election day is fine, just because of that, election day. I only got into a political discussion on 200 one time, when it was election day. Of course, I'm not old enough, but like I told CHAPPY, don't take me for a complete idiot, I know what's going on.

Politics is going to happen when you have a bunch of middle aged to older guys sit in one arena and talk about somthing and it goes from one thing to another, then you have a political argument. It happens all time, and no matter what your going to do, there is going to be somthing said that will make people upset on their veiw, and they will say somthing.
If you are talking about the spammers on country that just come out and say, "____ sucks go ___" then thats not alright, those are the guys that I just squelch, because there definetly noobs. If its on 200 though, its not gonna happen like that, it will come naturally.

Hubs do you mind if I use that as a sig?  It's something I've been trying to put into words for some time.  I think you have nailed it.
