thanks, how about expanding on how to use it. I don't seem to be doing it right. What type of shots should I be getting using these features.
World Pointing is great for setting up flyby shots, where the camera is stationary and pans to follow an object.
Roll film until the halfway point of your shot and pause it. Go to external view and use the movement keys to move a little ways away from your plane. Hit Grab Position for both start and end - don't worry about Grab Angle. Set start time back to where you want to start, and end time where you want to end - try a duration of 15 seconds. When you play the shot, you should see a nice flyby with the plane in full view the whole time.
Try the same thing with World Relative, but point yourself where you want to look and hit Grab Angle along with Grab Position for start and end. You'll be staring at the same point in space and the plane will come into the frame, fly by, and exit the frame.
I don't want to toot my own horn, but I use both techniques quite a bit in my first real movie "Killshots"
