Disagree with you on that one, slug. Good song, but not even the most memorable Bond theme.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Not really a movie (technically)

But the Theme from Band of Brothers gets my vote

I always liked the Indiana Jones (the original) music.  It fits the movie perfectly and even sounds good by itself.

Burning Bridges

Friends all tried to warn me
But I held my head up high
All the time they warned me
But I only passed them by
They all tried to tell me
But I guess I didn't care
I turned my back and
Left them standing there

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Joey tried to help me find a job
A while ago
When I finally got it I didn't want to go
The party Mary gave for me
When I just walked away
Now there's nothing left for me to say

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Years have passed and I keep thinking
What a fool I've been
I look back into the past and
Think of way back then
I know that I lost everything I thought that I could win
I guess I should have listened to my friends

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Burning bridges lost forevermore

The best one I heard was for Pearl Harbor. The best television theme song(goin by how easy it was to remember) was "The Dukes Of Hazzard"
theme song.
"I pledge allegiance to the Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama, and to the tradition for which it stands, one nation under Saban, undefeated, with championships and victory over all"

2001 and Star Wars would prolly be at the top of my list. Both powerfull and very recognizable.

The worst has to be the one to Top Gun. Not because the melody is the worst out there, but because you think about that rotten movie after having heard only one second of the tune.
