Work is coming along nicely on 1.06. Nate has been doing a rework of the La-5's interior. SF finished up the Tempest and is working on a perk bomber. We should have some screenshots of the bomber next week.

We should see screenshots of our first perk bomber during this week (and it is already wednesday) so it is about time to place your final guesses.

Only one per pilot! Posts with more than one plane are automatically discarded!

Winner (if there is multiple guesses on winning plane, first one posted wins) gets bragging rights until next time!

My guess: Ar 234 Blitz

Ar234.

B-29A is too complicated for 1.06's tight schedule.

My guesses are:

Mossie

If they want a REAL perk bomber, go with the B36 Peacemaker.     (Too bad it wasn't in WWII.)

In terms of the Me-410

1) It isn't a "bomber" any more than the P-38 is a "bomber."

2) I see no reason at all why it would need to be perked

Just to be a weirdo I'll stick with my B-32 Dominator guess from back when I took Pyro seriously when he said it wasn't one of the ones that people were guessing :-)

As the perk fighter is going to be British, I don't think there's much chance of a Mosquito.
I think B29

Ain't that a Condor? Trans-atlantic capable?

Decent long range maritime bomber; but with only a rather pitiful 4k bombload and a piss-poor rate of climb I see no reason to perk it. Lanc's and B17's out performed it in most all aspects. I seem to recall only about 200 of em were made.. the LW's answer to a chawg.
