I just felt like sharing with you all a song that I absolutly love! The music is great, the lyrics are outstanding, and the vocalist is one of the best in the world (IMO). I think this song should have a video to go along with the lyrics.
The story to the lyrics are that the guy was born and raised by the sea, and became the guardian of the lighthouse to make sure the light never went out. On New Years Eve he's on town with a girl. He gets carried away with emotions and forgets about everything else. He falls asleep and when he wakes up and it hits him that noboby has guarded the light, it's already too late. When he gets back he finds out that a ship, the White Pearl, has crashed into the reefs and all on board have died. He cant live with the guilt and jumps into the ocean from his tower to face the same faith as the crew, the death of which he was responsible of did.
