Clarkson owned a Ford GT for a while, but i think he got rid of it because it was too impractical on our roads, and Hammond has a Mustang - so i don't think they are that anti Americar ;)

As an American I can say I love that show but get alittle  :furious when they bash america.  Saying we are all fat, stupid, and such is not even close to the facts.  Loved it that they showed every stupid person they could in the show....and the homeless person.  But I guess that's what a fact show is about...only the facts.  Clarkson would drive me crazy to hang out with and I could see myself getting along with Hammond...he seems cool.  Capt. Slow....well I would wench slap him at the first time he opened his mouth...the man is a total waste on the show.  I don't care who you are but the zed-r 1  :O vette was sex on wheels.  Really was also hoping they would have a new Mustang GT 500 KR on the show.  540hp in a badly built brute of an american car:

But then common joes couldn't relate to it, and there wouldn't be a model from the latest batch of retro muscle.

Don't get so wound up, it is Top Gear, they play on the stereotypes of everything for a laugh.  I have been to see the show being filmed live, Clarkson is funnier and less PC off air than he is on it - not just an act.  He is a legend.

James May is great on the show, all 3 work so well together.
