John Clarke and Bryan Dawe are comedians that do this once a week on the ABC.  They've been doing this act for decades.  Clarke made his name in NZ doing a character known as Fred Dagg back in the 70s about the same time as Paul Hogan gave up bridge painting.  He's hardly a newb

It's simply comedy TV for local consumption, but somewhere, somehow, some American stumbled upon a clip and the rumour started that this was a "for real" interview.

I have a couple of real estate purchases down here you might be interested in , one involves some low lying but potentially spectacular beachfront property and the other some quite sandy , but irrigable land with spectacular views of Uluru at night.
