Media fire links don't work...why

I don't know why the links I put on mediafire will not stay up.     

  A few people get the stuff I put up like Sounds, sights and training films but then the links are disabled.

Maybe it's not secure and someone who enters the area can change them.
 
The last file I used in my sig only stayed up and running for 2 days 


Any ideas?

I've switched it to basic sharing. Seems I was on Extended sharing and I was able to share whole folders which might have meant anyone who visited could see the whole folder. In basic I can only share one file at a time and may be more secure but can someone change links in either mode?

Strange, all of the films I have uploaded on the last couple of years on mediafire are still active.  Setting issue maybe?
