Fighter Town concept

Why not add 3 bases in a part of the training arena as a fighter town. A place where you can come for some acm. It was one of the best things in aw3 because you didnt have to fly as high or as long to get a fight. This is great for the guy who has 20 min only to play or for the guy who plays on lunch at work. Fighter Town at aw3 was where you could go and play in a very high paced enviroment. SA was at a premium the fights were often lower alt and the aces played there often. In short it was fun! This is what we need here at AH. Flying so far to fight is often boreing. A FT option would be a nice change of pace and a easy addition to make i think.

One field is not enough. Need three one for each country. Also you should be able to change countries to even it up. Multiple fields adds a  more complex dimention to the game. With one field It will simply be a who's highest game.Any aw3 guys out there who rember the old fr fighter town? The one in the middle of big pac. Something like that would be great. Even a seperate arena like they changed it to would be better than one base. Just makeing 3 bases in the middle seems alot less work than a new small arena.

This stuff needs to be in a seperate arena.  In WB we had a Training Arena and a Practice/Dueling Arena.

Two arenas would be nice but if you just take Three bases that are close togther in the existing arena it would get done  faster. The arenas so big you have plenty of room to do training.

Eye you know what happened in real life when you flew into ack?

Read a few books where the guy alerts ack before he gets there. Their ready for the drag. Germans that flew from abbyville and japanese at rabaul come to mind. In some ways you are right though there are alot of tracers in the air not to get hit by a couple of your own. Btw im hunting you now around 16 see ya.

I have been thinking of an arena with only three fields, one for each country. Something like two fields on high hills close to each other in the lower right corner of the map for instant action, and one training field far away in the upper left corner. The training field and country would be the default for the new players.

I guess we’ll get a chance to test all our ideas when the map editor is released.
