what is si special about it, im almost sure its just a light projected onto the water fall, the whole thing with the chain links is a dead give away, and the video quality is terrible

Huh?  The water is released to form patterns.  Did you have the sound on?  Did you notice the images stretching as they fell?

That would explain it.  With sound, you can hear the splash as it hits the bottom.

No idea what would cause you computer to mess up like that though, sorry.
