Some ideas for future versions

I thought I'd write down some of the ideas for AH that I've thought of.

Don't get me wrong, I really like this game, but these are a few little items I'd like to see eventually.

In no particular order:

1.  Make the gun positions for all bombers the same key.  (Will be more important once the JU 88 and Lancaster arrive.)

2.  Drop tanks should cause damage.

3.  Dust rising behind vehicles on the move.

4.  Be able to transfer ammo in bombers from one position to another.

5.  Mouse click 6 calls.

6.  Ability to highlight multiple wingmen.

7.  Ability to highlight those on the same RW channel as you.

8.  Ability to highlight those on private/100 - 299 series channels with you.

9.  Ability to access mission planner with a dot command and in flight via a clipboard button.

10. Airraid sirens audible when in the tower of a base with enemies in the sector.

11. Roads and hiding places for tanks on the ground.

12. Ability to locate friendly pilots via the roster.

13. Contrails/Wingtip trails (and the ability to turn them off and on for those with slower systems.)

14.  A way to check who is online via the webpage.

These are just a few ideas I thought of (or that others suggested that I liked) that IMO would really be nice to see in the future.

What do the rest of you think of the above?

   Ditto on all of the above, plus: when pilot blacks out, control surfaces should return to 0 and blackout continue for a few seconds more.
   Pilots who blackout in RL are no longer in control of their planes so a hard G manouver should cease when the pilot blacks out as muscles become slack when one is unconcious.    Not asking for him to do the funky chicken (spasems)when he comes to as in RL.
   Kinda frustrating when I got max tunnel vision, and the plane I'm chaseing pulls away and out turns me. Ya gotta know his screen is blacker than the Ace of Spades.
Give pilots an incentive not to black out.

 Allow more than 1 person to join a buff for gunner Positions. As it sets,, A gunner can only defend off 1 attacker due to him being alone.

Also an option to hide the little airplane of the map view it gets in the way of seeing your Pos. and other things.

I like it!

I would add:

1.Make ground vehicles be able to climb up hills at half their top speed.

As it is now, I dont even think on using a tank when there is a hill nearby, I wont waste 30 minutes of my time climbing a stupid hill, it aint fun.

2. Add some more types of ordenance. I would like to see NAPALM bombs, Air to Air rockets (the Luftwaffe used rockets that would explode after X time in flight, used to blow up buff formation), Air to Air bombs (same as Air to Air rockets).

3. Artillery (aka, a Jeep with no guns which once would drive to the target and direct artillery fire. To prevent abuse, each jeep could direct only 15 shells)

4. Trees so that tanks can hide and fighters can auger into something other than sheep  

5. More clouds in the sky and at different alts. Cloud fights are AWESOME.

6. Ability to select the icon colors. As it is now, some of us are color blind and the red-green problem when trailing a con below the horizon is quite painful. Also, Squad highlight is nearly invisible to me.

7. Give the weight of the plane as you load/unload it. Might be usefull to determine optimal performance loads.

8. Add a RANGE feature on the inflight map. If I select a 100% fuel plane, a circle around my plane would show me how far I can travel. This feature would update itself and show me how far I can fly with my fuel.

and finally,

Make the war be a 2 sided war. this 3-sided thing is unthinkably annoying
