190A5 demonstration
« on: November 21, 2008, 09:02:09 AM »
lots of good stuff to take a look at, pushing the limits of the 190A5.

the fight was arranged without 20mm cannon, 2 guns were loaded then dumped. 25% was used.

enjoy

was fun... think i gave u a lot more crossing snapshots, but i had a few small sustained burst hits.  2 x 7.9mm ain't gonna do much dmg, lol.

u held it slower and steadier for the most part.

At the time of this posting, there have been 18 "reads"...not one (1) thank you for posting the film...allow me to be the first!   Great training aid, albeit a tad on the "show-off" side.  :rofl  :aok

looks like a good fight.  Quesion, how where you able to keep the 190 inthe air at such low speeds and still pull some moves with stalling?

Bat eats a lot of strange English grub that that causes extreme flatulence. with the closed cockpit and poor ventilation in the 190 it gives him that extra little bit of lift :rofl :rofl :rofl

Actually Bat is probably one of the very best A5 drivers in the game and masterful overall in slow speed high AoA situations. I've actually had him drop more then 1 bird 500+ ft in a true tail slide then flip it over on me :salute

thanks for comments Den, S!. Oak, light weight with regards to ammo and fuel too, gentle stick movements. Shane displays far more experience and control. Lets forget who's flying and just look at the two planes flying in a way most dont get to see, but all are capable of. Also thanks to shane for the fight, dont concentrate on me :)

here are four more 190 fights from shane's perspective, in a zip file.

I call the most jammy reversal ever at 07:23, reminds me of of something that I did to Baitbug years back.

Does this go on for another 7 mins.  :uhoh

Impressive!  I'd never keep a 190 under control at those speeds!  Thanks for posting that up.  Mechanic, I think you would have had him at 3:56 if you'd had the cannons.  :aok
