Wingpair looking for new home
« on: November 21, 2008, 12:29:51 PM »
Fly mainly Mid War, love American Iron especially Navy Iron.  Both of us are in our 40's and enjoy the snapshots and especially the FSO's.
Just looking for a squad to fly with and have a good time.  Anyone who could fit in a wingpair?  Responses appreciated.

If you are looking for a shot at some USN birds take a look at my old squadron...VF-17...They are on the rebound after several of us retired and are moving on.

Tex01 (whiteman on the BBS) is the new CO and needs some help. Post in this thread linked below and I am sure you will get a response from him soon.

Reschke you the man! VF-17 is currently 3 members Modeus and I fly almost nothing but Navy birds & bob11799 gets on every once in awhile and flies a bit of everything. I fly we fly mainly LW but i do go to MW and would make more appearances with squad mates. I think once more members join recruiting members will be come easier. Also another F4U squad wants to fly together. PM for more details and info!

VF-10 would be happy to have you aboard cajun. I think you may know some of our "old salts".  ;)
