I feel your pain, My brother and I have golfed together for about 12 years, we usually go about 2 times a week when the weather works with us. Living in Michigan you have to take the whole winter off, sure there are times we play on simulators or go to the Dome but its not the same. I've seen and done it all temper wise on the course, only broke one club on the ground when i was 16 and that was after a qualifier in H.S tourney.
My brother and I go out and usually have a awesome time, drink beer maybe smoke a little. We are both really competitive though and usually shoot around the same. All the anger is usually at the start of the season because golf is all about tempo and taking the winter off does not help. Ive seen him (my brother) take a swing at the cart take a peice of plastic out of the side, break a club on a tree....lol...there is this course that has a wooden bridge about 4 feet high and you have to make a 90 % turn, we were pretty well buzzed and he was pissed and tried to take the turn like jimmy johnson and well damn near flipped us over, we had to get out and lift the donut end up and get it back on.
Slow play really gets up ticked off too. You can be a bad golfer and still play ready golf. One thing I hate is to watch a guy set up like he is on the PGA tour, stand behind the ball make 15 practice swings, throw grass in the air to judge the wing, then hit the ball 30 yards worm burning and repeat that process all day.
Just a few of my favoite things;) Golf is truely one thing that I truely Love in life.
