Well since I fairly new to the squad board I thought I would see if can get away with one transgression.  Hehe!.

Anyway, I have adapted this old song, okay plagerized, stolen, or ripped off. Apologies to the author.

This is purely fictional and in no way represents any particular group or person   :devil

On the first day of Combat,
The NOE brought to me
A Falcon in a pear tree(Hehe, hit a tree).

On the second day of Combat,
The NOE brought to me
Two newbies popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree (I’m down).

On the third day of Combat,
The NOE brought to me
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree (Take over Dads).

On the fourth day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Four combat radio calls,,
Three wayward Goon Drivers,
Two Newbies Popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree (Geeze).

On the fifth day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two popping newbies,
And a Falcon in a pear tree(Good grief).

On the sixth day of Combat,
The NOE brought to me,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two Newbies popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree.(Dern it!)

On the seventh day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Seven flamers a flaming,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies a popping,
And a falcon in a pear tree.(Who cut in front of me when I was shooting)

On the eighth day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Eight furballers a furballing,
Seven flamers a flaming,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies a popping,
And a falcon in a pear tree. ( For gosh sakes what was that)

On the ninth day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Nine hi alt preachers,
Eight furballers a furballing,
Seven flamers a flaming,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies a popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree. ( Son of a Suckerfish, what the H’ll)

On the tenth day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Ten squeakers squeaking,
Nine hi alt preachers,
Eight furballers a furballing,
Seven flamers a flaming,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies a popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree. ( Good lord why is there a tree there. Who would put a tree there!) .

On the eleventh day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Eleven knits a ranting,
Ten squeakers squeaking,
Nine hi alt preachers,
Eight furballers a furballing,
Seven flamers a flaming,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies a popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree. ( Hitech must be out of his freaking mind, lordy) .

On the twelfth day of Combat,
the NOE brought to me
Twelve raving rooks,
Eleven knits a ranting,
Ten squeakers squeaking,
Nine hi alt preachers,
Eight furballers a furballing,
Seven flamers a flaming,
Six base captures,
Five golden perkies,
Four combat radio calls,
Three wayward goon drivers,
Two newbies a popping,
And a Falcon in a pear tree. ( Dirty so and so’s, what the freaking H’ll was that #*$%. Those sorry anal retentive maroons. No one in their right %#^* mind would put a tree in the middle of this %#$# field, Ooops hehe, been PNG’d) .

It should have stayed there! :D

I like my version better as it is aimed at the AH community at large.
I agree 11 in a hoard is  not the typical Bish hoard... but having only 9 rooks picking is just as unlikely... There are only 12 days of Christmas in the song. If there were 365.25 days of Christmas in the song, the Knights a porking would earn the last day's honors... It seemed like every bish base was porked 3 sectors deep on the Knight front last weekend. That probably took AT LEAST 365 guys to accomplish!!  :rofl :lol :rofl

The song does have it's limitations.

BTW, my squadies liked it alot (Well maybe one had some reservations). However some of the lingo is purely Rolling Thunder.
