Advice? If you dont have a video camera then buy one before the son/daughter is born. Then always have it handy on a shelf, battery charged, tape/disc, ready to go. I actually have my kids first steps on video cause I had the thing ready.
All the x'mas's when we wake him for Santa, all his B-days, his ballgames, his zoo trips, everything. I have a library of his life on disc.
The time goes so fast raising kids that before you know it the wife and you will consider a "perfect date" to be popcorn popped and a night of watching your child's life on DVD. My only lifes regret is that I didn't have more kids. I wish I'd had a daughter too.
