How ARE new planes/vehicles chosen?
« on: November 29, 2008, 11:40:19 AM »
Not sure how exactly they're chosen, hopefully someone will have an answer but this is how I think it should work.

1. Follow the same guidelines/restrictions for new ideas that we allready use
2. We have a month or so to post our ideas
3. Someone gathers all the data and statistics of how many people want what and so on...(I know this part would be time consuming)
4. We take the top 10 or 15 most wanted planes/vehicles and we are given a month to vote on, using a forum poll system.
5. Tally up the results and give HTC something a little more organized to work off of

Honestly sometimes I feel like they just pick out of a hat. That goes along with what planes are updated as well.

Based on the planes that are getting updated, I think HTC definitely has a plan for that; I think they're choosing them based on how common they are and how bad they look. Just look at the last couple planes to be updated; the Lavochkins, the N1K, and the F6F. Based on that I think the next plane to be updated will probably be the Bf110 or the Typhoon, or maybe the C47 and the Lancaster.

I agree; the Ki61 and the Macchis are worst off. I don't think they'll be next, though, unfortunately.
