Corn fritters .    There is nothing like fried cream corn.

I'd never heard of them until we moved here to TX. My husband's granny used to make them all the time as well. I make them on occasion ~ maybe only once a year. But if I don't burn them, all of the TxFamily is pretty happy when I make them. :)

Cheesecake is good, but still doesn't approach warm cherry pie ala mode.     :aok

Where are you going where they put chopped lettuce on and forget the sport peppers? Lettuce-out! Sport peppers and poppy seeds for the bun-On!

slaps head

sorry can't have a dog without em. i stand corrected. but i do like the fine chopped lettuce too, not all places do it.
Poppy seed buns was a given- but i forget, non chicagoans wouldn't know the finer aspects of hot dog buns :)

I'm eating extra-crispy KFC and their mashed potatoes and gravy.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Lol- when I saw this thread title I instantly thought of the red velvet cakes one.  Forgot that it was you who started it.

That said, I think that eating something wrapped in plastic like that is horribly irresponsible of you.  That plastic could fall to the ground and create a slip hazard on a tiled floor. Oh, the humanity...  :D

If NEARY was referring to the type of "fondue" I'm used to, chunks of uncooked meat + peanut oil = heaven. Now the melted chocolate and cheese stuff I'll stay away from. Speaking of chunks of meat (under)cooked) in peanut oil...I know what I'm asking about for my birthday dinner.
