Agreed, Texas and Oklahoma are the best. Hopefully with tonight's big win for OU, they will get into the number 1 in the Big 12 slot and play in Kansas City. We'll see.

I want to see either Texas or Oklahoma play Florida just so we can get all this "SEC is the best" stuff done with.

Either team could beat Florida.

SEC is easily the best confrence, Florida, Alabama(#1), Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee(yeah i know they sucked this year), but i mean come on there really isnt a bad team. Florida or Alabama could whoop Texas or Oklahoma, Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin and the rest of the UF offense is just unstoppable.

I am also a die hard gator fan and alum so you can't convince me other wise lol.

But hey what a game last night Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, that was college football at its finest.  :aok

SEC is playing second fiddle this year.  The shame is that only one of the 2 best teams in college football will be able to move on after today.  Let's all hope that justice is served and the one that deserves to go to the Big 12 championship will go - that would be Texas.

still going to have to disagree with the 2nd fiddle comment, SEC is stacked, by far the best, you just wait and see in the national championship game

I do have to agree with obama though, we need a college football play off, that would  be AWESOME and more fair since the BCS rankings arent exactly fair

That's the only thing you've said in this thread that I can agree with. ;)

That said, there is no good reason that D-1 college football doesn't have a playoff system in place. Every other college sport has some sort of playoff system. Even every other level of college football has a playoff system in place. Champions should be determined on the field of battle (so to speak) and not by some poll made up of people who may or may not even watch the games.

Well boys, today is a sad day at the lowZX14 household.  The only hope we have is if Mizzou whoops those Okies and then Texas will jump back to #2 and play in the title game.  I'm biased as well, but I definitely believe that Texas vs. Florida would be a better BCS Championship game.
