Resupplying ports

     Ok I understand if your carrier is still up, resupply of the field is fine.  Tonight at P17 we came in prepped the base, killed the carrier, deacked, destroyed vh etc.  and took the base.  One gamer then proceeded to land lvts feet dry and repeatedly spawn till he killed the new ack, then respawned lvts dropping multiple sets of troops to recapture the base. 

     Second mission comes in preps the base again, and one gamer repeatedly spawns resupply, ditch, resupply, ditch etc.

     Makes for a very frustrating night.

I started a post on this recently called 'Dry Spawn' you can look up for some discussion.

I think the main point is that all sides have this benefit, whats good for the goose vs gander type thing.

Also, a CV that stays in position to dry spawn is effectively removed from play, to stay and guard the port.

At least that is what I gathered from the majority of posters.

IMO, it is a bit of a 'gamey' feature and think it should be removed.

  I got 9 last night in an ltv2. I think only 2 were bonafide. Dropped supplies on the field and realized I was the only one by the maproom. So I hid next to a fire and when another ltv2 came to drop troops I opened up on him. Then an f4 dove on me as the ack sprung to life and I pinged him pretty good.
