Perking N1K and F4U-1C? (And a Question for HITECH)

I know I asked this online earlier this week, but thought I would bring it up here.  Since the F4U-1C and the N1K seem to be a bit unbalancing (and way over flown...as in choosen to be flown), why not apply some small perk value to these aircraft?  Say 15 or 20 Perks Points (even 10)?  It would discourage the "Dweebs" from going overboard with these aircraft as they often to do currently.  Sometimes all you will see are N1Ks and -1Cs in the air over a field.  I am sure it would create a better variety of aircraft in the air at anyone time and make life more interesting.

I myself am a N1K driver and would not mind a small fee to fly it.

The stats on the n1k don't show it to be the terror it's made out to be, neither in total numbers flown nor in k/d.

What you have is a wave of excusisms everyone has latched on to.  There is no reason for them to admit failure anymore, as it is the fault of that freaking UFO uberplane (that happens to be about 15th in k/d).

I agree with Fatty on the N1K2 and am holding out hope that the new vehicle armor model will reduce the percentage of F4U-1Cs once v1.07 is released.

As more and better planes are added the chog will be flown less often.

Look at the difference 1.06 made - I see fewer chogs now, especially in the Lake Shaw map, time to drag this carcass out and bury it!

Sorry if I "beat a dead horse".  I looked through the last few days posts and didn't see much about it, so I thought it would be worth an "ask".  I haven't been on these boards in months......

Why would it be such a bad thing to put a small perk on these 2 planes?

I was just doing some browsing in the stats area...

The F4U-1C has around 150% the deaths than any other aircraft.  That would mean that the plane is probably being flown more that three times as many times as any other aircraft.  It has MORE that 200% the kills!  Doesn't that flag to the "powers that be" that something is a bit strange with that particular aircraft?  Seems a bit on the strange side to me....

The only other 2 aircraft to make 5 digit death/kill numbers are the N1K and the SpitIX.  

N1K2   = 11205 kills/10922 deaths
SpitIX = 10044 kills/10695 deaths
F4U-1C = 23712 kills/16945 deaths

PS.  Am I weird or something?  Am I the only one to see this as strange?  How do you get per aircraft totals?  hmmm...Maybe I can put a suggestion in....

Im not sure if perking will solve the monotony of seeing only 1 or 2 types of plane predominating in the arena. If we perk the chog and/or the nik, then spits will become the ones people moan about because 'there's too many' etc. Its just a fact that some plane will be more popular than others.

Besides chogs or nikis arent *that* good anyhow. they're currently out-performed by at least 3 other non-perk planes.

 I believe there's a lot of players that won't fly the Nik because of the FM issue , the stats won't show this .

I got to say this , I don't have a problem at all with the Hog , it ain't no super figher plane ,or any of the
others for that matter .

But this Nik is something else again . Now I ain't got no numbers , proof or anything but my feelings on it but IMO this Nik FM is shit

But the claims would lead you to believe the opposite Airspro.

Frankly I don't see it.  If I'm in a G2 I hope the n1k tries to turn with me.  If I'm in a 109-f4 I hope the n1k tries to turn with me.  If I'm in any of the spits, I hope the n1k tries to turn.  If I'm in an f6f I hope he tries to turn.  If I'm in a p47 I hope he tries to turn.  Zero is a joke if he turns.  If I'm in a 205 I hope he tries to turn.

Since beta, I've yet to see a N1k do something that can't be beat by about half the planes in here.

I have watched as more and more it's gained ground on the F4u and surpassed collision and HO whines as the second most used "only reason I died!" whine.

Don't perk the N1k, just give it it's High engine failure rate so it flys more realistically :-)

As for the 1c, if they would just give us the f4u-4 you would not see so many 1c's :-)

  Perk the Chog/nik whine. It should take a lot of points before you can whine about the Chog or the nik.

Sorry numbers don't lie, top killers are the N1k and Chog, and if you seem to not see them as much as before then you are truly blind.  For one they will not have a high K/D for it is a rookie plane, and why not?  Easy flight models, big guns, and tons of ammo.  

I have no problem with them, just that I am getting bored everytime I up and go to a airfield and running into Chog here and N1k there and a spit 9 over there.  The ones that don't want it perked are hte ones that fly them all the time and will have to learn how to fly a real model and learn to kill again.  

I don't know how you all can say this is fun now?  Flying against 3 planes mainly yet we have so many to choose from.  Don't hand me this BS you don't see it either.  total cop out and a bunch of crap.  I don't care what planes they add, I jsut want to see diversity, not about being killed but diversity.  I agree with Spro the FM is fuc#ed, and it has to do with those damn auto flaps.  

Cry all you want about not perking planes, I hate the perk system but if any plane should be perked it is those 2.  You may now insert foot in butt routine.
