Selfish ? Of course we are selfish we are customers, we are not giving money to the friggin red cross you know !!!

All I could see coming from HTC is that they dropped promised upgrades for the software we buy (we paid for those devs whatever you say), and since then we got nothing. Looking at the info they dare give us they are NOT working on the game, it may be false but how could I know, they don't say anything !

But all that isn't new they always have been TERRIBLE with communication.

PS : the game quality is going down the drain, all the best things in it are organised by a few players. Without the events it would just get boring as HTC seems to think the MA dynamics are perfect. Without player made skins the already out of date new modeling would be just plain boring. And don't start me on the 1980's damage model.

my 2 cents.

HTC has the most accurate modeling of any game I've ever played. The GV damage model is odd, but this is FLY Aces HIGH...

Finally someone said the truth, and masherbrum you hear "Wailing" because you really have nothing to say and are defending HTC, i mean i got nothing against them, but still. noir said it all,
and here is a... something

purple arena: 15/150
green arena:23/200
Orange arena:360/400
Blue arena 260/300
take away about 26 two weekers in total

they make about 20k a year give or take sell a couple  millions of copies of AHII over time, for about 45 dollars maybe a couple thousand a week, some chimericals and you got more people paying for the game

Personally, I'd venture to say that most people would like the 2 programmers...you get a big corp like Micro$haft and the more people work there the less the quality is.

1000 players (est.) x 12 months x 15 bucks a month = 180,000/year.

I sure wish they'd take the gun away from people's temples and let them not play if they are so unhappy.  Damn that HTC for forcing us into their game!

Just out of curiousity.  What is it that you don't have in spades in this game?  I want more, really doesn't tell us much.  You've flown all the planes and learned them well?  You've driven all the GVs and have that all figured out?  The cookie jar of new things to try is empty already?  Here since tour 93 and you've worn out the game?

What have you contributed to the community and the game to help make it better?

not exactly, come up with a catchy WWII game name, kinda hard, but look closely

divide that by 6 and you got 30k a year per person, and i say Microsoft has better quality. why do you say less?

Like anyone else said, if you don't like HTC, quit. I'm coming on 2.5 years, and I'm still addicted to the game.

In Dan's defense, he's provided the community with plenty of info when asked. He's provided Event planners with information when the CM team needs a bit more information. He's helped out on the boards and in-game more than a lot of people here. Most of all, he's a great character, doesn't whine when something is wrong, is content with the game, loves to dogfight and doesn't mind dying, enjoys a good laugh, and respects most all players.

What have you done except whine about how bad the game is? If you don't like it, go make your own and see how hard it is.

Maybe you should learn more about the people on this forum before insulting them, eh?

HTC puts out irregular updates about twice a year. If we assume they dropped CT before 2.12 came out (the huge update from April '08), they've given us a new fighter with 2 variants, a new bomber with 2 variants, 2 new ground vehicles, updated a vehicle, updated 5 fighters one of which had two variants, updated the CV fleet, and implemented a feature which IIRC they had said before would be impossible or extremely difficult. If I had to guess what was coming next, I would say it would be more graphics updates and something big with terrains. I'm pretty satisfied at this point.

I'd suggest you go back and read some of those posts.  They tend to have a lot to do with sharing WW2 aviation history and information, whether it be for the skinners, scenario guys, plane fanatics, or whatever.

There are any number of folks who do the same thing in hopes of getting folks to look at the game as more then just that.

Have you read any of those 9000 posts? He is always helpful and goes out his way to find the most rare and obscure facts about planes, units and the people who flew and maintained them. The community would be much poorer without his contributions.

I was thinking damage model in general, GVS and planes are plagued with the same disease. That was not the main point of my post anyway, we just need more info ! A devblog would be nice, a bit like this one : http://myeve.eve-online.com/devblog.asp (you may have to be logged to see it)

Too much liability and flame/rant-bait from a devblog.. It'll get the you-owe-me-15$'s-worth crowd frothing at every perceived misstep.

i wish that HTC would get going a little faster, i think i heard that CT was on hold, so whats holding them up, we dont have any new planes yet, the only thing new was just updating ones we had, i would like to come to HTC and see on the front bulletin that their progressing, the only thing new I have seen on there is that they we celebrating turkeyday and that tour 106 has been completed

You have absolutely no clue, sir.
