When you've got a chance...
Ground Collision Model FilmIt's a zipped up film of me flying a Ju88. The interesting (wierd) part of it was that I was able to drag my wingtip across the ground at 100MPH. The film didn't record it, but I had full aileron deflection to actually force my wing into the ground.
Not that it matters, but if it came down to it.. wouldn't the wing get ripped off?
Also, could you revise (if you haven't already) the ground drag model- more specifically the part of the model that is causing nose gear aircraft to slowly flip over if the nose gear is shot away and you try to land with the other two gear extended.
It's almost like the plane is being rotated on it's nose by an unseen force WHILE it's still moving and it eventually flips over as the speed drops (less resistance on the tail plane meaning the ground drag model is over powering it) and eventually the plane crashes on it's backside and blows up.
Thanks!
