Just saw it on the news.

The report said that it missed a high school by less than a mile.
That would have been terrible.

Around 12:05pm pst The pilot ejected and parachute landed safely in a tree near a base ball field. The ejection pod hit a house and the plane hit and destroyed 2 holmes. The new's reports he was on approach to Miramar on the back course.
