I was sitting in my RV living room looking out into Puget Sound and saw this contraption floating by. Sorry about the quality of pix. All I have is a pocket camera and these were taken at max telephoto and it's not the best weather right now at Fort Flagler. At first I thought it was 2 boats then I got my binoculars and saw it is actually at least a submarine and a floating drydock with two bridge structures. It seems the sub is being ferried toward Bremerton. I did see sailors on the sub conning tower so I assume there is some crew inside. It looks like the rudder of the sub is just visible behind the dry dock boat. There was also a small Coast Guard Cutter escorting the group as usual in these waters. I'm used to seeing subs, both attack and boomers sailing through the Sound here since Bremerton is due South of us and they transit both directions. Just next to the Fort is also Indian Island where the Navy does their conventional ammo loading and unloading.
