I have to reinvent myself
« on: December 14, 2008, 01:32:06 PM »
For the last few months I've been getting obsence PMs from a few players over what I thought were harmless jabs at their spelling or calling them out on their shade vulching. And now I'm even getting nasty PMs for killing them in a fair 1 on 1 fight. This kind of behavior is insane to me. I guy even went as far as wanting my address so he could come beat me up and have his way with my wife. All because I made fun of his spelling  :lol And another because I called him out on his shade vulching.

Now I don't claim be be a angel by any stretch of the imagination, far from it as a matter of fact. But I have never ever felt the need or been offended so bad in this game to reply to any of you in such a manner. For one thing you may be a young kid that has no social skills or just off your rocker for all I know. So I won't get personal in that way. But by the same token, how do you know I'm not 10 or 12 years old? Is that how you would talk to a kid? I hope not.

I personally find these type of PMs disturbing and uncalled for. They have no place in a game or anywhere else for that matter. I know I've rubbed some folks the wrong way over the years and some of that was by design to get a good fight or make you make a mistake. I guess that was a poor tactic on my part and for that I apologize for getting to you in such a way in an internet game, to make some resort to personal attacks on my family.

So, as of today I'm turning off 200 for good and try my best to set an example of good sportsmanship and fair play. I'll do my part to act like the adult that I am and make this community a little nicer place to visit.  :salute

I can understand this theres been a huge rise in annoying idiots in this game my nights ended up arena jumping looking for action listening to idiots boo hooing about losing fights or towns (weird) and watching people be cowardly in a make believe game. Dont let it annoy you just do what i did and delete your account!  :lol

No problem. I find it hard to stir the pot when the person is attempting to do the right thing.

I'm assuming you called out a couple of Cowboys for the shade vulching.  I did the same.  They get really testy don't they?  One of them told me he didn't need the shade and he was going to quote "Take over this arena"... whatever that means.  I think his rank is as low as it has ever been since he lost his vulch buddy.  Players like this who cheat and then send despicable private messages to players that call them on it are the lowest form of AH scum.  I say give em more hell.

For the casual heckler here's a nice range insult.  "Hey _____, you haven't changed your name yet?"  :D

DO NOT CEASE TO CORRECT SPELLING AND GRAMMAR.

Poor spelling typists merely show low self-esteem and disrespect for the others about them.
