Seriously Merry Christmas
« on: December 14, 2008, 07:18:35 PM »
A little Trans-siberian Orchestra video, featuring Al Pitrelli on guitar.

Kinda old video, but the best version of this song I've ever heard.

Merry Christmas to all , and to all a good fight!!

I've seen these guys 6 years in a row--best show I've ever seen.

Saw a show in Vegas about 3 yrs ago.  About 2 and a half hours into it, they were just getting to the half way point of the show.  Had to leave because we had to pick up the kids from the 'sitter.  They put on an absolutely amazing show, though.  We were incredibly amazed.

Kinda funny that at about 3:29 into the song, you can see the french horn player in the background wishing that his parents had gotten him guitar lessons instead! :rock

I'm serious here, but is it gonna be a rules violation to talk about Christmas since it is a religious holiday, and were not supposed to talk about religion?

I'd like to get Skuzzy's ruling on this.

Being a WA state Resident, I just HAD to chime in on this one...
Even tho I'll probably get banned for a week, for doing so...

My religion never hardened my heart..
But that sign they put up in Oly town sure did...

The main lesson I got from Jesus Christ is: The greatest, most
rightious, and honorable souls on this earth, are the ones who
are willing to suffer hardship, loss, or even death, for the benefit
of others... Most of whom they will never even know!!!

Sounds like soldiers huh?

We say, MERRY CHRISTMAS, at our house!!!

:salute and a very sincere MERRY CHRISTMAS to you ALL!!!
C'ya next week

Is "persona non grata" political?

Persona non grata
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Persona non grata (Latin, plural: personae non gratae, also abbreviated PNG), literally meaning "an unwelcome person," is a term used in diplomacy with a specialised and legally defined meaning. The opposite of persona non grata is persona grata.
