That's what I saw, he was mixing it up with a few of them.

Just didn't want the admiring public to be mislead.

You can't degrade into something you never had in the first place.  :devil

ack-ack

AckAck, why do you always got to be so cynical?  heheh

Been flying Rook for about a year and a half and even tho they have degraded (IMO) over the last few months they still are a great country to fly in.

I've popped back and forth from country to country over the months and still think Rooks have some of the largest # of team oriented sim pilots, but something has changed.  I'm not sure if it's a of lack of leadership with some of the top base taking squads or if the ones who did enjoy flying as a group have just decided furballing is less work and more fun.

I've been flying Righteous Vengeance lately and have found them to be an excellent squad for teamwork, honor and respect. They truly love organized fighter / Jabo sweeps and have the willingness to take on base defenses anywhere across the map. Being a smaller squad, they don't take a whole lot of bases but are always looking to help anyone who's trying.

To me,  thats  what makes the game fun and I'd love to see more of it again.

Every country goes through cycles. Rooks have never been a great base taking country though. They have Dredger and maybe a couple of others. Mostly they are just after the kills. Nothing wrong with that in MHO. If rooks are attacking a base with 30 rooks and you are on the ground defending you may only see one rook come in to strat the base. Everyone else will be above the clouds looking for that one poor guy to pick.
A couple of weeks ago I went to defend a base flying in at 15k. There was a full dar bar of rooks there. All over 22k. I think one actually dove in on me for just a second and then soared off into the wild blue yonder. I landed and rearmed hoping that maybe just maybe I might see some action. Once again I ran low on fuel and had to land. So I probably spent 90 minutes in the air and no action while there was a full dar bar of rooks. In fact they were so high we launched 2 successful missions under them.  :rofl :rofl

It wouldn't be a good time to be Bish right now. We've proven so successful that both countries hit us in mass. Not so much to win the map but to keep us from winning. On Titanic Tuesday, as one of my squadies pointed out, we had 14 bases flashing while the Rooks and Knits only had 2 bases flashing. This is not a complaint but a compliment to the Bish.

We dont fly as many missions cause they are mostly a waste of time. We got tired of four Typhoons magically appearing overhead of an NOE mission. The last GV mission we ran had its VH bombed from about 4 sectors away so we couldn't spawn back in. Now the only way an enemy Jabo could have gotten there in that time would have been to take off exactly when Dredger posted the mission, "gee how could that happen"? :huh Today I actually got to look down on an enemy cause I spent days trying to defend bases against 4 cannoned HO'ing hordes coming in.

So go Bish until they "degrade". Then go Nit till they degrade. Then come back Rook and rinse and repeat. Maybe the game is just kinda going down. Its like a lot of times I cant even get past the first merge without someone shooting first.

Any questions? See below.
