Granddad is in the hospital- been about 20 years in the making but a long story short, they're doing a vein graft to try to improve circulation enough to "jump start" his liver and kidney functions, and to get enough blood in a leg so it doesn't have to be amputated. Scheduled for 0700 tomorrow morning
A heart bypass is needed, but they need contrasting dyes, but because his kidneys and liver are pretty much shot thanks to alcohol induced diabetes, that won't work.
So, send a quick one up for Charles Eugene Reese Sr today if ya would guys- this one's a Hail Mary, and all indications are that if there's a complication, I'll be wearing black for Christmas.
