It looks like every single packet destined for a Comcast user is being routed through one router in Los Angeles.

This wreaks of a routing issue, but I do not know who is screwing up at the moment.

Contact Comcast and tell them you need the problem escalated to tier two, or higher.  First tier support only knows how to trouble shoot your local connection only.

Called Comcast.  Gave them all the addresses with problems.  They said a specialist was going to research it and get back to me within 24 hours.  I'll hold my breath.

The number of hops changed.  Not a good sign at all.  And I still cannot get back to your connection.

Here's a 206.16.60.38 for you.  It took me five minutes to get to the forums (multiple page not available screens).  Everything else on the Internet is working fine for me.

No, everything else is not working fine.  Our WEB page is at another ISP (ThePlanet).  Our forums is on another connection in AT&T network.  Our server are at another location.  From what you just said, you are having issues with all three locations.

I just went in a did a poll of Comcast userss in the arena.  It seems only the people in the NW part of the U.S, maybe some surrounding areas, are being affected.

Yeah for me, AH is the only thing I am having problems with. America's Army, web surfing, chat all work just fine. Guess none of them have that much drag on the pipeline...

stupid intertubes being all messed up.....  :frown:

i wish I had run pingplotter before to various places under good circumstances so I could compare... I have no idea how to interpret it now, except seeing packet losses at almost every hop CANT be good :)

which btw, is it normal to see route changes almost every 5-10 seconds?

When I was getting disco'd I went and watched a 90+ minute streamed movie at Netflix without issue.  Not sure where they are located though.  No problems with NFL, Nascar, Microsoft or other web-sites.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
