Breathing effects while pulling G
« on: December 19, 2008, 07:57:45 PM »
Denholm brought this topic up when commenting on Bmathis' new film.

Breathing effects while pulling G would add more immersion to AH2, not only that but it’s a very simple and easily doable request.

Yes, I'm sure you have plenty of those media files on your PC that we could use.  ;)

We could use simple heavy breathing to keep it P.G instead of grunts, moans and growns.

I think its a good idea as long as its well-executed.   I don't have experience with a lot of other games, but I think I've seen this effect in some other game, maybe also with an amplified heartbeat sound?

I've done some of my own tinkering and added an oxygen mask breathing effect to the stall horn. It loses effect over 300mph but below those speeds it works rather well, it's not perfect.

Maybe you can make your own breathing sound file from your favorite Adult film. Then make one for your rounds/bombs hitting out of the ultimate moment of passion.

Well, it's all the small little things put together that make greatness. It's a good idea from moot.

but isn't this something we can piterally do ourselves?  when you're in the blackout tunnel, simply start grunting...

I want a sound for planes on fire.. broadcast over 200 for everyone to enjoy:

I've been doing my own anti G lock breathing techniques since I started playing. Only drawback is I sound like a crazy person and hyperventilate, sometimes I even knock myself out.
