Happened in this region too. From what I heard, Time Warner was even less satisfying with how they treated their customers.

Isn't anyone familar with this site? http://comcastmustdie.com  Believe it or not Comcast monitors the site and does take care of the problems (to an extent) listed on the site and the issues discussed.
