Duxford Wing RAF is Looking for a Few More Good Fellows
« on: December 26, 2008, 11:10:30 AM »
Thats right, ol' chap!  The Duxford Wing RAF is a unit with roots high above the skies of Britain.  Its reputation for carrying itself with poise and professionalism just like the real thing has allowed it to grow and become a major factor in AH2.  Currently, Duxford Wing's roster has a rough 50/50 split between US and UK/Euro members (16/16), and we have a few openning we'd like to fill.

Both our US (Eagle Sqd) and our UK/Euro sqds have a few openings we'd like to get filled.  We have only a few criteria: 1>You have the ability to carry yourself as a gentlemen with poise and respect; 2> Your desire to be a team member of an upstanding unit with a very polished reputation; 3> You are in fact a team player.

We have scehduled "squad nights" on Sun and Weds for much of the day (our UK players start the party roughly 2pm EST and our US players end the party roughly about 1am EST).  On the "off" nights, we'll run mini-missoins which include long range/high alt bombing runs with escort, Mossi raids on enemy bases, fighter sweeps, carrier group bombing runs, base captures, etc, etc.  Much of what missions we do is based off of consensus as no one person rules the show.  Yes, we have a chain of command that is well respected, but they insist that this unit belongs to us all.  We all help each other.  We all have something to teach and we all have something to learn.

We partake in the scenario events as much as possible, with the FSO and SEC being a big pull to our members.

Join up for a 10 day to 2 week trial period to see if you like Duxford Wing RAF (and we like you).  You'll be glad you did.

Okay, ya dinks..... Now, is your opportunity to join up on Rook Channel Vox and ask the nice Brits to please speak in English   :neener:  :bolt:

Oh,..............  :rofl da boss is gonna have me washing windscreens for a month......

Honestly, this has always been a cool group to hang with.  Zensen, is very active as CO and is willing to spend 1 on 1 time with anyone who wants brushing up.

There always seems to be someone online (remarkable for a medium sized squad) and tons of fun  :x to fly with.  Oh, did I mention they kick butt, too?

doesn't matter how old it is, just take the age of the thread into consideration before shouting for someone to change their original post from 3 years ago. hell you cant even change your post after 15 minutes
