IIRC most planes are five minutes of WEP, ten minutes of cool down. German planes have 8-10 minutes of WEP and 5 minutes of cool down, and the Ki84 has IIRC 2 minutes of WEP and 30-45 seconds of cool down.

eehh...i'm screwed then...i don't last 5 minutes in a fight.  :rofl :rofl

Did those Merlins really need 15 minutes to cool down? And why the Pony needs only 10?

Look at that poor C.205 ... 5/15 ... same DB605A-1 of the G-2 and G-6 ... imagine a 10/10 one ... fix it!  :mad: ;)

gatt, in another thread we learned that the C.205 suffered from inadequate cooling, and thus the shorter WEP time in the game.  My guess is that something similar would explain the WEP difference between the Spitfire and P-51.
