New setup
« on: December 26, 2008, 02:56:19 PM »
It looks good but one thing I see wrong is perk point multiplier is enabled. Because there will never be anyone playing on the third side perked planes/GV will be higher then it would be if we were playing a three sided war. Right now there are 1 allied 2 axis and 0 neutral and the tiger is 125 perks. Iv been back for over a year and because perks are hardly ever turned on I only have 26.94 vehicle perks. My suggestion would be to make a set perk so it doesn't go up and down with the numbers.

I like the setup aswell. Found one thing wrong though, when you bail out you can't immediately end flight, not a huge deal because fights are nice and low on this map but be advised anyone that ups bombers.

Decided to take Tyrant's and Republics advice.

The setup looks pretty cool, I like the map and the clouds.
I brought our brand new pilot with me.
He's new so I told him 1v1s when possible.
We ran into DearDawg, I stayed out of the fight and Raccoon attempted to engage.
I think Beardawg had a disco or something because his bird disapeared.
I have to be up at 4:30 so I logged off and will try  again tomorrow night.

That would have been a good 1v1, BearDawg is our newest pilot, new to the game actually.  I think he's been having some connection problems, doesn't play much, and his vox is pretty scratchy still.

I won't be on tonight probably, have a date with the wife, hopefully catch you some other time though.

Yeah it looked like some kind of connection issue. I had turned  180 degrees away from the fight and was desending to be co-alt Beardawg if Raccoon lost.
Six view pretty sparse in F4U but it looked like a disco. I just got back from a road trip that started at 5:00 am. I may make it on tonight if I don't fall asleep. ;)

Date night with the wife is a always a good idea. Pay them ther due first than AH, and you'll have much less wife ack if any.  :aok

Are we looking at the same AvA arena?  All I see there is the ancient ATARI map.

Actually since the setup is a non historical Axis vs Allies setup the map makes little difference.
The current map is convienant for quick fights and the clouds gives some added SA stress. It seems to fly well...
To me anyway.
