NDISLES and UTERUS are the best maps in the game IMO.  Makes great for instant fights and furballs.  It is also harder to take a base that os WAAAY away from the fight like you could on big maps.  I am partial to NDISLES because that was the map where I landed my 1st kills in AH in a 190A8, and I really like to tank in that TT.

not true,

1 gather a sizable group of bombers and c47's (some with supplies some with troops)
2 take off from rear to bases gain superior alt (at least 20k or higher)
3 penetrate deep into unprotected enemy territory
4 split force into three attack groups with different objectives
5 target 2 V bases first (they must both have a spawn point into the same F base)
6 capture, preferably both, but at least one of these V bases as fast as possible (bomb them flat from alt, if no uppers then avoid hitting hangers if possible, and drop troops at the same time)
7 as soon as capture is made drop supplies, all empty rides (bombers fighters C47's) land on/at V bases
8 while troops are running bombers and remaining C47's continue on to targeted F base
9 as soon as possible those that landed or were shot down re-up gv's from the captured V base(s) some to remain and defend it some spawn into the F base the remaining bombers are in route to.
10 all remaining bombers, with fighter assistance, should destroy the town from low alt (5000 feet or so) and only the GV hanger at the targeted F base.
11 fighters that cannot destroy town buildings should engage and destroy all upping fighters and GV's before they can cover the town.
12 multiple C47's should drop troops as soon as possible
13 drop any remaining supplies where they will be of most use
14 land and immediately re-up to defend all captured property

the rest of the world is generally going to be to low and wrapped up in the furballs to climb up to defend against it.

with a good escort of fighters (some heavy with bombs and rockets) you should be able to ward off any of the few defenders willing to take the time to climb up to intercept you.

once you hit the first base then you will be getting alot of unwanted love, but stick to the plan and work it.

live or die lose or win it would be a fun mission at the end of it all.

i would love to be apart of it if you could organize enough players to pull it off.

my guess would be 10-15 bomber formations (3 each) 8-10 C47's (6 troops the rest supplies) 15 or more escort/attack fighters (split between heavy and light)

Good Luck and Gods Speed!!!   :salute

I was sooo looking forward to the start of the new camp today until I logged on and found NDIsles in one arena and Uterus in the other.  I was so disappointed I felt like cancelling my account.

I logged off almost immediately and went to watch a movie, eat dinner and take a nap on the sofa hoping that when I returned one of the maps would be reset.  No such luck.  Worse yet, both maps were hoard vs hoard on both sides.

Unfortortunately, today was my best shot at getting in some playing time for the next week and I just couldn't stomach playing on these tired old maps.  I tried to give it a go but my heart wasn't in it.  I especially enjoyed having my 12 cleared for me.

Maybe I'm just burning out.  The BBs don't hold much interest for me anymore either.  In another thread I was kidding when I said NDIsles, Uterus and Baltic here we come.  If that's the best AH has to offer I'll be out of here.

My worst AH nighmare became reality today.

Just take a break... I pretty much dropped off the DAR a few months ago and haven't played since and cancled my account. I did like my little cartoon K-4, but I disliked the Air Quake that AH had become even more. The simple problem is this game really isn't satisfying if you are looking for somewhat realistic fights. The Quake Warriors won the battle and diluted the skill pool to the point it will likely never recover and be what AH used to be...

If you are expecting anything different from massive hoard/gangs then this game will likely continue to be a disappointment to you. The individual fighting and realistic missions are long gone.
