Bcadoo, there are many theories surrounding this issue. The main ingredient here is 2 fold. The ocean temps have increased drastically in a relatively short period of time. This is "unusual". Thousands of years ago they did not measure and log the temps... So although it may be a crap shoot, what if it is global warming? and man made?

I GUESS THE GENIUSES SHOULD KEEP IGNORING THESE FACTS!

Weather it is or isn't, the resolutions to control it will make our environment better for all.

Maybe it isn't Global warming but a natural thing. These are all theories.

If we do not do anything and it is true, life as we and the Polar Bears know it will never be the same!

Actually, if you really want to raise questions about climate change do a search for "Little Ice Age".  Interesting reading.

funny thing 'bout that.........everyone else is saying that the ocean temps are decreasing, as a result of the polar ice melting.

 soooo...which is it? is the ocean getting warmer or colder?
