When Do the Christmas Lights Come Down?

The lights and tree always came down on the 12th day of Christmas in my house growing up.  I get depressed to see them drop before New Years.

I was always told that they could not stay up past New Year's Day.  So, the outside lights went down Sunday and the inside stuff is being put up tonight, oh well, we both love it all but it's gotta go.

I created many a new traditions... daily afternoon naps for Mom... evening hour naps for Mom... mid-morning naps for Mom.  And the awesome thing was that nobody's allowed to argue  ;)

yeah well, I put them up 3 years ago. So far I flip a switch and turn on the christmas lights.

Soon, one of these years I'm going to flip a switch and turn on the christmas light.

But, I'm okay with that.
