Tired of a lone fighter foiling 30 mins of hard work
« on: August 15, 2000, 12:01:00 PM »
This morning about 5 or 6 of us Bishesset out to reclaim what was rightfully ours. We got some bases, and headed to take a12. It's a large base, so we couldn't possibly kill all hte FH's.  We got all ack down, VH and ammo for buffs. Only thing up was FH. We got all the troops were on the ground except one, who was still floating.  A lone F4U spawns and shoots it down without even having to move. Do you think that in RL if troops were attacking your base, would u go grab a fighter? No.  Why can't we make the troops so that they can fire their guns, throw grenades ect?  Just a thought.

*whine alert*

That is why you CLOSE a field before dropping troops. A large field requires a large force to take it. Next time bring more buddies and more c-47's.

This from a player who likes to fly buffs and strafe in TA. Not to mention using a Panzer or M16 to shoot planes taking off in TA.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA etc.

You are a goof.
A warping, ackstaring, sniveling goof.
What a stupid thing to complain about.
I guerentee ya the operation to take 12 that you were trying to recover from was better planed and executed with feignts and support as needed.

RAM, I believe the maximum altitude of a B-17 was around 36k in WW2.  I have never flown that high in all my time playing AH. If u have a screenshot or Movie that proves me wrong, show it. Is that all u guys do all day, check the AH Boards and reply just minutes after the original post? Yes it is, so you all need to get a life.

Maverick says "This from a player who likes to fly buffs".

Oh so flying buffs to flatten bases is bad, I understand. Next time we try to take a base, I'll bring a Nikki if it makes you happy.

ROTFLMMFAO

Well well well
the master buff dweeb lets the whine out
want some cheese to go with that?

Ya never would shut up when I'd tell you to shut up, listen, and learn some strategy

Now you dare to complain about 1 person acting to defend the field?  After all the times you have launched an ackstar B17 and, knowing you were warping, proceeded to shoot down most of the attackers (dying several times in the process).  Dinnae bout ya mate

Were you the goon driver by any chance max?
Shouldna dropped across the runways where the fighters would have an easy shot at the troops   (whomever was flying the goon)

Uh yes I do believe you, you have never gone so high as 36K feet.

I'll have to forget about those 32K bomber runs too?     those do count as 30K+ runs?

I suggest you two things:

1st: go to the Optic shop and buy glasses, you need them. To see the 30K+ Buffs I mean: D

2nd: Stop lying. We all know you do warp-rewarp-30K buff runs in MA.

Maximus...

Learn to fly man. And get a good ISP.

And dont ackstar in the Training arena please. Its of bad taste, you know

Please get it right dweeb.

I could care less if you fly a buff in TA untill you use it to strafe, ackstar or otherwise get involved in flights of players taking off of a field in TA with a Buff. As long as you stay away from me and don't use the buff guns to interfere in a fight I am in I couldn't care less what you fly. Buffing in TA is plain dumb unless you are just learning how to use the plane. That situation doesn't fit you.

Ask ym squad mates, or other bish who fly with me. Ask them if I ever fly buffs at 30k plus alone, and ask them if I always warp around liek the Enterprise.  THey will say no. I onlyed warped once or twice cause or Real Player, and have stopped using it sence then while flying.

Maximus-

It has been explained to you over and again that the traceroute info you have is only one piece of the puzzle. You don't seem to realize that if everyone online says you are lagging, the problem is probably you. Common sense would suggest that you consider the possibility that you are indeed lagging.
