Clip Board Sound Settings
« on: January 01, 2009, 01:18:39 PM »
When I reduce the audio level for the primary and secondary weapons from the clipboard, they work fine.  That is, until I start another sortie.  Then the guns are full blast again.  The only reason I lower this volume is that I run my computer through my receiver, and this sound is too loud for me.  All of the other sounds seem to work alright, but the guns are overwhelming on here, so I have to turn them down a touch.
I wouldn't mind so much if I just had to do it once, but every sortie?

Thanks for any info/help.

Check that the sound files are not read only in the folder.

Shamus, I really don't know how to go about doing that.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled AHII.  No luck.
Like I said, the other sound settings remain where I set them, except for the primary and secondary weapons.  I opened the sound settings with note-pad, and that said the sounds were at .5.  That is correct, because that is were I adjusted them to, 50%.
I don't know, just kinda' frustrating to have to reset the sounds every sortie.

Open the sound folder in the HTC directory and right click and open properties on the sounds you want to check.

At the bottom there will be a read only box, make sure it is not checked.
